Christmas postage – Recommended action, digital orders for Christmas 2020…
It has become obvious that the postage system is struggling this Christmas season. Special deliveries are slow, up to 3 days, first class is not what it used to be and print orders from the lab vary so randomly from 5 days to 3 weeks! When you add these delays together, your postage time to me, the post from the lab to me and me posting back to you, it all adds up!
I strongly advise anyone ordering a photo restoration for Christmas 2020 to go for the digital file option. These can be completed normally within 12 to 24 hours. That way you can try to get it printed at a print service near you or mail order direct from printers like SnapFish, TescoPhoto or Photobox. This way we eliminate another postage trip from me to you and therefore another possible delay. I can then post your originals back to you and they can catch up with you when the postal service allows.
For best results, we recommend posting your original print(s) to us. However, if you prefer to send a scanned copy of your photo(s), follow our scanning instructions to ensure the best quality image for us to work from. In all cases, we will carefully examine your image(s) and email you a FREE, NO OBLIGATION QUOTE before commencing any work.
By providing photos to Image Restore you confirm that you are the copyright owner or have permission from the copyright owner for use of the supplied image(s).

Bordon, Hampshire, GU35 0HB
Please include your email and phone number, name and return address with a cover note explaining what you need and any print requirements (sizes and quantities).
When posting your originals, I recommend using Special Delivery Guaranteed™. Please use stiff card as protection and, if possible, special photo packaging available from most post offices. Special Delivery items, like normal mail, can easily get creased or bent while in transit, so please protect your photos.
Originals will be posted back via Royal Mail Special Delivery and the cost of this will be added to the restoration. I regret that, in the unlikely event that I am unable to restore your original, you are still liable for the cost of return postage.
If you wish to drop off your image(s) to me personally, please contact me in advance to arrange a convenient time.
I operate from a home office in Bordon, Hampshire, located approximately 10 minutes from the A3.
